The idea of porcelain as skin and vessel runs through all of my pieces: a contained space articulated through an interplay of edge, line and surface.
I graduated with a BFA from the University of Manitoba in 1979. My work has been included in various exhibitions and collections throughout Edmonton, Banff, Calgary, Red Deer and Saskatoon. Since moving to the west coast, I have participated in the Salt Spring Potter’s Guild Shows as well as the juried Sooke Fine Arts Show 2016 to present day, for which in 2018 I was presented with an Award of Excellence; the Parallel Art Show Salt Spring Island 2017; I was a finalist in SSICA 2016 and 2018 (Salt Spring Island Ceramic Awards).
My work can be found seasonally at Artcraft and Artcraft Winter in historic Mahon Hall on Salt Spring Island, and by appointment at our home studio/showroom located at 117 Quail Crescent, Salt Spring Island British Columbia, Canada.
