Set yourself free : rules need not apply

The goal was to experience the joy of free style watercolor landscape painting.  Vitality of  painting can emerge from a willingness to surrender to process and letting go of outcomes. Learning to paint freely, quickly, unincumbered by too much thinking and planning. Letting paint flow like water, taking the path of least resistance. Techniques and approaches to keeping painting less about premeditation and and more about feelings, impressions and spontaneity. To put it another way, painting how you feel or imagine rather than what you see.
